"Miss Timmons had my son Cristobal for over two years. I could not
have asked for a better teacher. She teaches
autistic children and has so much patience. My son made so much
progress in her classroom last year that he had to move on to a new classroom
this year. She still goes to his new room at least weekly to give the new
teacher
pointers on how to get my son to do his work. It just blows my mind
that she would take the time to help my son
still even though he is no longer in her class. I never had a teacher
who was so caring an devoted to getting all of the kids in the classroom
to partisapate. I have been wanting to nominate her for a long time and
just did not find the time. I will give major props to all of the
teachers and the staff at The Franklin Learning Center for all the hard
work that they all do working with our "special children", but I beleive
again Ms. Timmons should be recoginized for goiing above and beyond her
normal daily tasks. Keep up the good work!"
