"DEDICATION. BELIEF. ENTHUSIASM. LOYALTY. These four words are symbolic of Mrs. Kelly Holland, a devoted kindergarten teacher at Andrew Buchanan Elementary School.
There are students at this school who are educationally disadvantaged
or at risk of failing to meet the state
standards. This school district has a Reading Incentive Program
that Kelly's students has excelled in the past
couple years. Her commitment to teaching these children how
to read at a young age is one facet of her strength in
DEDICATION to her influential job. At the start the school
year some children are not proficient in the English language, but by year-end,
they cannot only speak, but also can READ in English!
Mrs. Holland has a strong BELIEF in her teaching abilities. But she also has a strong belief in the children being able to reach their learning capabilities. It is then she knows she has accomplished her commitment in influencing the life of a child.
Kelly's ENTHUSIASM for her students is so heartfelt and genuine.
Being a Kindergarten teacher, is so important
because it helps "mold" the children into enjoying learning new
things everyday. Kelly brings fun and excitement to "her children's"
learning experience.
