We believe Ms. Johnson should be teacher of the week, because she exceeds expectations to reach out to her studnets and to help them understand what needs to be learned. We also believe that she deserves this recognition beacuse she's not only a long-term substitute for us, but takes on the full responsibility of a true teacher. For one example during our Teacher Halloween Contest, she dressed up as Honey Boo Boo, and came extremely close to winning. She takes every oppotunity to support our school and be as active as possible within the school itself. We also think it is so impressive how flexible she is. She has had many teaching environments that range from teaching in China to here in Shippensburg that she will take any and every oppotunity to better the education in our young people today. In today's age it is extremely hard for young teachers to find teaching positions, and being a young teacher, we believe she is a great asset to our school and believe that she deserves this recognition.
