How great is living in the 4-state! We are so close to Baltimore, DC, Philly, and Altoona! lol! Hey, don’t knock Altoona. We here at The Rick and Lisa Show LOVE Altoona! Best kept secret.
So, a great road trip is to DC! We went this past Saturday. We lucked into metered parking, not once, not twice, but three times! That’s pretty huge in DC! I spent the better part of the night before scoping out parking garages on Spot Hero. BTW, prices increase when you are sitting in front of the garage. Just sayin’!
Anyway, first on the list was the International Spy Museum! It houses some very cool exhibits and some interesting apparatus Spy’s used in the old days! I need one of those secret recording devices. Better yet, what does Omarosa use? We all enjoyed our visit! Loved this sign!
Next up was the National Geographic Museum. Yep, bet you didn’t know there was one, did you. We got to walk through iconic Church of the Holy Sepulchre and travel to Jerusalem via a 3-D experience unlike anything you’ve seen in a museum before. It was quite a thrill. There is a Titanic Display which features an actual chair from the ship and many other things.
We topped the day with a visit to the Phillips Collection. Admission is FREE if you are 30 and under through October 7th! It houses one of my favorite Renoir originals!
