Battery In Children’s Book Causes Fire

Who knew this was possible?? A children’s book with a speaker and battery is being blamed for a fire inside the car of a North Carolina family over the weekend. It destroyed their child’s car seat but thank goodness, nobody was in the car at the time. 

Destiny and Pressley Williams say the book was a Cocomelon JJ’s Potty Time book that uses alkaline batteries.
