Rick and Lisa Fun One Day Getaways!

A fun one day trip with the kids is to the Pa. State Capitol and The State Museum!  You can book a tour to the Capitol online! If you don’t want to do a tour, you can just walk in and check it out. The tour is free and highly recommended! We took the tour. It is a beautiful building rich with history! And, it’s free to tour!!! Did I mention it was free!

The Pa. State Museum is a fun place to explore. There is a small admission fee. The kids will love it and learn something at the same time! You can see Pa. icons, the Anthropology and Archaeology Gallery, Transportation & Industry, Mammals, Geology and so much more! It’s a must do for the family! We really enjoyed our time there!
